Installing and enabling the app

After installing the AskTimmy app, approve the subscription and you can choose the free tier available for testing the app. You will then have to complete the onboarding process.
1. Enter the basic details about your brand. Optionally, you can sync the Shopify policies and pages from your store.
2. At step 2, customize your AI assistant's avatar, color, position, and visibility on your store's pages.
3. Now, visit the theme editor to enable the AskTimmy app.
4. From the AskTimmy app embed, enable the app and click 'Save'.
5. At this stage, your AI assistant is almost ready. Depending on the number of products in your store, the data sync can take some time (it typically syncs 1,000 products in less than a minute).
Once the product is synced, you can check out the shopping assistant widget in your online store.
If there's a space conflict on your website due to other widgets, such as WhatsApp, we can hide the default launcher of the shopping assistant and use alternative options. Please reach out to our support team for assistance regarding this.
The AI chat assistant is all set on your store.
From the app dashboard, you can view the conversation, conversions, total messages and orders assisted by the AskTimmy app.
